Itinerary

Day 1 Pyramids Day

Start your day tour right after breakfast as you will meet our private, qualified Egyptologist tour guide and proceed to Giza plateau where you can wonder at 3 pyramids that represent 3 generations:

• The Great Pyramid of Cheops (2500 B.C.); only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world

• The Pyramid of Chephren (son of Cheops)

• The Pyramid of Mycerinus (grandson of Cheops) with partial granite outer casing

• The panorama area (the highest point of the plateau) where you can take great pictures

• Camel ride adventure in the Sahara desert around the pyramids

• The Valley Temple or the Mummification Temple of Chephren

• The Great Sphinx and its mysteries

Then you will enjoy lunch at a top quality restaurant overlooking the Sphinx and the pyramids.

Later you will proceed to Dahshur plateau where you will visit:

The Red Pyramid of Snefru(oldest true pyramid in history, 2600 B.C.) where you can visit its interior

The Bent Pyramid (2600 B. C.)

After that you will move to Sakkara plateau where you can wonder at:

The Step Pyramid complex of king Zoser which is considered the oldest complete building of stone in history (2700 B.C.), it is considered an intermediate stage of evolution between the Mastaba and the real pyramid.

The tomb of Kagemni (2200 B.C.), inside which you will wow at the lively scenes and vivid colors.

The pyramid of Teti (2200 B.C.) to get amazed at the Pyramid Texts (the oldest recorded religious texts in history)

At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2 Luxor

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport you will start your full day in Luxor as you will explore

the Valley of the Kings that has about 70 royal tombs (entry to 3 tombs included) dating back to the New Kingdom

the Temple of Hatshepsut with its magnificent terraces

the colossi of Memnon and their mystery

Karnak Temple (biggest temple on earth) and its huge magnificent Hypostyle Hall, colossal statues and obelisks

Luxor Temple built by kings Amenophis III and Ramesses II

Lunch is included at a good quality restaurant, then you will be transferred back to Luxor airport to catch your flight back to Cairo where you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3 Cairo City Tour

This day is dedicated to Cairo city as you will have the opportunity to explore the Egyptian museum to see, among other things:

The treasures of king Tut Ankhamen (1350 B.C.)

Royal Mummy Rooms (extra fees)

Animal mummy room

Ancient manuscripts

Colossal statues

And much more

Then it’s time for the Nile River as you will enjoy a peaceful hour riding a felucca (traditional sailboat) and later you will enjoy your delicious lunch at a good quality restaurant overlooking the Nile.

After that you will visit the area of Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) to visit the area of Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) to check the remains of the Roman Fortress of Babylon and visit the Hanging Church which is considered one of the oldest churches in the world…

Later you will wow at the citadel of Saladin and the famous Alabaster mosque inside it, and then you will move to the area of the worldwide known oriental ancient bazaar of Khan el Khalili to enjoy the atmosphere and take great views of ancient mosques and houses.

At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
